Backlog Release SSA Job Aide 

This job aide is in reference to the backlog release process. Please use this as a quick check to ensure that all checks are completed, and documentation is accurate prior to releasing lines from the backlog. If any of the checks are incomplete or inaccurate, work with the field to take corrective action. Backlog cannot be released until all checks are completed and documentation is accurate. 

  • Status of SR is Completed – Equipment Configuration (Light installations) or Closed  

  • Equipment Location field must be populated (exception: NO EQUIP SRs) 

  • Item Description matches backlog service line  

  • Unit Condition populated  

  • Sales Order # and Sales Order Line # match backlog release request 

  • If components required, component serial #s listed in the Notes/Resolution Description field or Light Configuration form on Attachments tab 

  • Activity Types match backlog release request  

  • Field Service Report = $0  

  • Startup Checklist attached with Attachment Type: Installation Checklist  

  • Checklist title matches Item Description 

  • Serial # on checklist matches serial # on the SR 

  • If Disposition fields are blank, no action required 

  • If Disposition fields are populated 

  • Equip Out of Spec letter is attached to the serial # as Attachment Type: Equip Out of Spec Letter 

  • Serial # on out of spec letter matches the serial # on the SR and checklist 

  • Utility Name on out of spec letter matches Utility on checklist exactly 

  • Measurement on out of spec letter matches Result on checklist exactly 

  • Specification on out of spec letter matches Specification on checklist exactly
